The Challenge
KPIntra had become a critical internal platform, used for document templates, legal guides, forms, and announcements, but it no longer served users effectively:
- Search was broken, and navigation was inconsistent and confusing.
- Templates were scattered across the platform, with frequent duplicates.
- Excessive user roles and content types made permission and content management nearly impossible.
- Users routinely struggled to find key information, impacting daily operations.
OBH needed a complete overhaul: a streamlined, modern intranet focused on clarity, usability, and operational efficiency.

Our Solution
We started with in-depth UX research, including interviews, surveys, and usability tests with over 300 participants. The feedback guided every aspect of the redesign.
Key changes included:
- Radical simplification: Reduced content types from 70 to 25, and user roles from 60 to 10.
- Taxonomy overhaul: Cleaned up and consolidated vocabularies into ~25 relevant categories.
- Content audit & restructure: Eliminated outdated content and reorganized remaining material for clarity and relevance.
- Modern UI & improved workflows: Introduced an intuitive design, new page layouts, and a cleaner legislative review and feedback flow.

The Results
The new KPIntra delivers a significantly improved user experience and simpler platform management:
- Faster task completion: Staff across departments can now find and use content more efficiently.
- Better navigation & discovery: Clear structure and responsive UI help users locate what they need quickly.
- Reduced administrative burden: Fewer roles and streamlined content types improve maintainability.
- Higher satisfaction & engagement: The redesigned interface and improved features have boosted adoption and user feedback.
KPIntra is no longer just a legal document repository, it's now a powerful internal communication and knowledge platform. With a scalable foundation and modern architecture, it’s ready to support future needs of the Hungarian court system.
