The History of Cheppers

Cheppers was established in 2012, initially focusing on web development using the Drupal framework. Within a few years, the team grew into a key player in the international Drupal community, leading us to open our American office in 2015.

Besides Drupal development, more emphasis has been placed on design (UX/UI) and consultancy, and over the years a new business branch has emerged, making Amazon Web Services (AWS) increasingly significant in Cheppers' operations. In short: cloud-based infrastructure design, development of cloud-native applications, operations and monitoring services, DevOps.

Cheppers is created, we start working on international Drupal and web development projects

Our 20st team member join us, while the UX / UI design and cloud-based services are added to our portfolio

2015-01-23

The number of our team turn doubles, so we move to a new office in Budapest

2016-01-01

We become a joint stock company and have our first Drupal training, the Drupal Academy. We expanded the size of our new office to 500 square meters with property purchase

We open an office in New York

2017-05-01

The second Drupal Academy start with 8 people and big enthusiasm

We join our forces with 5Net Kft., so another 15 people join the team. This year we also hold the first Cloud Academy

We start the third Drupal Academy with another 8 people. We launch a React.JS and Native development team who build the first mobile app during the year

We expand the office space by 250 square meters with the purchase and conversion of two properties

2021-03-10

Cheppers becomes an AWS Advanced Tier Level Services Partner

Our US based subsidiary company move headquarters from New York to Minneapolis

The Drupal development part of the former Cheppers team continues its domestic activities in a new company called Tech2Flow.
