The Challenge
The core decision: continue operating 26 separate Drupal sites or integrate them into the central birosag.hu portal.
We recommended full integration — a move that would:
- Reduce maintenance and hosting costs,
- Improve the user experience with consistent design and navigation,
- Streamline content management and editorial workflows,
- Strengthen security through centralized updates and access control.
To ensure buy-in, we led a multi-month discovery process with stakeholders from all 26 courts. Our UX/UI consultants conducted user interviews and content audits to map out which elements should be retained, redesigned, or retired.

Our Solution
The execution focused on three strategic pillars:
- Unified Design System: We created modern, consistent components that respected each court’s content needs while supporting a cohesive national brand.
- Centralized Content Migration: All content from individual court sites was transferred, cleaned, and optimized within the new birosag.hu architecture — ensuring relevance, accessibility, and continuity.
- Advanced Permissions Management: We implemented a scalable role-based access control system, supporting dozens of editors, multiple content types, and strict editorial workflows across the network.
Results & Business Benefits
- Lower costs: Consolidation dramatically reduced operational and maintenance expenses.
- Simplified operations: Centralized updates and consistent structures improved site reliability and security.
- Better UX: Visitors now enjoy a unified interface, easier navigation, and powerful search tools to locate information across courts.
- Scalability: The platform is ready for future enhancements, organizational changes, and new services.

This project was more than a CMS migration — it restructured public service delivery across the judicial system. Through close collaboration with stakeholders and deep Drupal expertise, we created a scalable, secure, and user-friendly platform that improves internal workflows and citizen access to justice.

OBH KPIntra served as the Hungarian court system’s intranet for over a decade, built on Drupal 7. Over time, it had grown unwieldy, with 70+ content types, 60 user roles, 60 vocabularies, and a cluttered interface. As it became more complex, performance declined and usability suffered, making it hard for staff to find and use essential legal and administrative content.

Their vision was to create a digital marketplace tailored to the unique dynamics of the metal industry — one that would connect small and large market players, simplify procurement, and support complex quoting processes typically handled offline.
