Marketing specialist

We're looking for a self-driven marketing generalist who thrives on variety and takes full ownership of projects. You'll handle everything from social media to lead generation while building systematic processes that scale. You'll work independently with minimal oversight - this is not a corporate enterprise role where everything is predefined. We need someone who moves fast, thinks creatively, and gets things done.

Works with: Sales team, development teams, external agencies
What You'll Do
- Own Cheppers' complete marketing presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and other relevant platforms
- Design and execute marketing campaigns that showcase our AWS, GenAIand Drupal expertiseto international markets
- Create lead generation processes that feed qualified prospects directly to our sales team
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities in cloud technology and web development sectors
- Support solution development by gathering market insights and client feedback
- Manage our agency relationships while evaluating new collaborations
- Business development support - helping identify partnerships and collaboration opportunities
- Implement and optimize HubSpot or similar CRM for marketing automation and lead tracking
- Support community engagement and professional event coordination
What We're Looking For
- Energetic self-starter with strong work capacity and proactive mindset - no hand-holding needed
- 2-4 years marketing experience, preferably in small to mid-sized companies
- Bilingual Hungarian-English with excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities with experience coordinating multiple projects and stakeholders
- IT industry experience - bonus points if you understand cloud services, web development, or tech solutions
- User-level GenAI knowledge with interest in marketing automation and AI-driven solutions
- Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), marketing automation, and social media management tools
- Self-motivated team player who can work independently while supporting our Budapest and Chicago offices
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in tech startups or digital agencies
- Understanding of B2B lead generation and account-based marketing
- Experience with AWS, Drupal, or open source communities
- Experience with larger partnership frameworks, particularly AWS co-sell and co-marketing programs
- Event coordination or conference participation experience
